BoonTown is a unique series of short stories written in the order of how children naturally acquire language. BoonTown has a total of 18 stories over 3 series, all of which provide specific learning goals designed to complement each stage of language development from single words to simple sentences to focusing on grammatical markers. In this series Buddy and his friends help children acquire a vocabulary of up to 50 single words. The stories are short and repetitive to keep young children's attention. A vocabulary checklist is provided at the end of each story to keep track of your child's language development.

Allergy Alerts by Early Intervention Centre Having a young child with a severe food allergy can be stressful. These Allergy Alerts were designed by the Team at the Early Intervention Centre and can be printed on t-shirts, badges, bibs or stickers to help raise awareness and alert people. Particularly useful for birthday parties, public eating places, school outings or traveling.

The DIR model ( Developmental Individualised Relationship based model) was developed as a framework to assist parents, and professionals in constructing a comprehensive intervention program that focuses on improving the child's functioning in developmental capacities where there are challenges, and, at the same time, promote healthy foundations for overall social, emotional and intellectual functioning. This introductory training will focus on the use of DIR/Floortime model with children with communication and learning difficulties, regulatory disorders, and children with behaviours that place them on the autistic spectrum.
